We typically set aside 90 minutes for a new, adult patient that Dr. Pink has not seen before. We utilize this time to go over your dental history and give you a chance to ask questions and/or voice any concerns you have to Dr. Pink; we are typically able to also complete an exam, cleaning, and update any x-rays at this time as well. Not everyone uses the full 90 minutes; however, we always set aside this amount of time to ensure we are thorough. If the time allotted is not enough to complete everything, a second appointment may be needed.
Do you accept insurance and if so, what insurances do you accept?
We accept most insurance plans and are happy to file the claim for you. Delta Dental, Health Partners, and Assurant dental plans are just a few examples of the plans we are participating providers for. Please call the office if you have specific questions regarding your insurance plan.
Are you accepting new patients?
We are accepting new patients at this time. Please go to the New Patient Paperwork page and fill out the three form listed there. Please remember to bring them to your first appointment.
I would like a second opinion on treatment recommended by another dentist. Can I see Dr. Pink for a second opinion?
Dr. Pink is happy to give a second opinion. It is helpful to bring a copy of the treatment plan and any current x-rays from the previous dentist for Dr. Pink to review. Additional radiographs may need to be taken to make a final diagnosis and recommendations for treatment.

How much does it cost for me to get my teeth cleaned?
For a new patient we have not seen before, the fee can range from $167-$237. The reason for the range is due to each individual need for x-rays to be taken. An exam and cleaning is $167; with a set of decay-detecting films, necessary every 1-2 years, the fee would be $237 and includes the exam and cleaning.
What are my options for payment if I don’t have insurance?
We have payment options for patients who do not have dental insurance. We offer a bookkeeping courtesy discount of 5% if you pay for your services in full on the day of service, with cash or a check. We also accept major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
Will Nitrous oxide put me to sleep, and can I drive after I use it?
Nitrous oxide is a great thing to use if a patient is especially nervous. What the effects of it can do is help relax the patient, it does NOT put the patient to sleep. After we are finished with our procedure, the gas is purged out of the patient’s system with straight oxygen, and the patient is indeed okay to drive themselves home.
Do you recommend fluoride?
Yes! Especially for children through adolescence. In these particular years of life, we tend to have more goodies with a higher sugar content. When kids start playing sports, they also tend to turn toward sports drinks or energy drinks that can really damage the enamel of their teeth if proper oral hygiene is not in habit. Fluoride is a great, safe, easy preventative that we can apply to teeth in just seconds that helps fight those sugar bugs!
